Who can volunteer?
The Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation appreciates anyone who volunteers. Our volunteer needs fluctuate throughout the year, but you can take a look at some of our volunteer opportunities to see when we may be needing extra hands! We do require that you be at least 18 years of age and can stand for at least 2 hours at a time, since some of our volunteer work is on-your-feet.
"Volunteering for the foundation during the holiday season has been one of my favorite ways to give back. My husband and I look forward to delivering holiday meal boxes each season. To see the appreciation, smiles, and sometimes even tears on these families' faces when we arrive with a huge box full of holiday meal necessities, a ham or turkey, and a fresh baked pie really gets to me. It’s really the simple things that mean the most, especially around the holidays when everyone should feel a bit special."
